Resco’s performance in 2014: It’s time for a recap

These are some of the milestones Resco passed in 2014:

Numbers

15 years of existence – which basically means 15 years of experience in mobile app development business (since we did mobile apps from the beginning).

800 corporate customers – ranging from companies with 10 mobile users to 1000+, we value each and every one.

200,000 app downloads – overall, Resco Mobile CRM app has been downloaded from app stores (Apple, Google Play and Windows Store combined) many, many times.

29,900 exchanged support emails – our support team has been busy answering questions from “How do I add my custom field to the edit form?” to “How can I validate data entered by user and warn them about wrong values?”

72 new features of Resco Mobile CRM in 4 major updates (not including minor tweaks and bug fixes) – that means a new feature was born every 5 days!
Most popular this year have been:

  • New design of the app
  • Color themes for changing the graphical appearance of the app
  • Copy & paste support for attachments
  • Possibility to Run Reports via the app
  • SharePoint integration
  • Dynamics CRM 2015 support
  • Support of business process flows from Dynamics 2013
  • Android 5.0 a.k.a. Lollipop support
  • iOS 8 compatibility
  • Calendar customizations

Products

Resco Mobile CRM for Microsoft Dynamics CRM has been and remains our priority. We invested a lot of recourses into improving it and making it the best solution on the market (which we, in all humbleness, think it is).

But there were more exciting development things happening this year:

We introduced Mobile Apps for Dynamics CRM, which allow companies to provide an app for their business partners, contractors and customers.

We launched an exciting, new product: CRM Glass, a CRM solution for Google Glass. This has, we think, a great potential in future of mobile CRM.

Also, our long-time performer Mobile Forms Toolkit (a set of controls and libraries for speeding up mobile app development) received a few improvements; such as attractive set of new charts.

And as for the most recent news, we launched our very own CRM solution: Resco CRM. We hope for it to become a CRM of choice for many small to medium sized businesses seeking a solution that’s mobile friendly.

People

We were sad to see 3 of our employees go pursue their own paths. Break-ups are never easy, but we remained friends. We wish Peter Hanustiak, Peter Hybaj and Peter Sima (notice the similarity?) all the best in their future.

Luckily 7 new fellas joined our team!
Can you guess the name of 2 of them? It’s Peter! Obviously a very popular name in Slovakia.

So let me welcome Michal, Simon, David, Matus, Paul, Peter & Peter.

Here’s what one of our new additions had to say about his first year in Resco:
“I would never say that I can improve my programming skills that much in one year (as well as playing darts and squash) #bestYearEver” – Simon, iOS and Android developer at Resco –

Here’s to another great year!

May yours be as prosperous and joyful as it can be (both in personal and professional level).
