So, it looks like more and more companies are having to find ways to enable their staff to work from home. I have always been an advocate for home office, I believe it enables staff to be more productive, have a better work/life balance and it is good for the environment.
Remote workers take longer breaks but they remain productive for an additional 10 minutes per day and work an extra 1.4 days a month compared with their office counterparts (Business News Daily, 2019). With the current situation, air pollution – which kills an estimated 7 million people a year (Forbes, 2020), has dropped drastically. Here you can see interactive maps which show the difference 2019 vs 2020.Continue reading →

It’s nearly the end of March, spring is knocking at the door and for some of us it is the time to look back and see how our New Year resolutions are going. Resco’s premier annual conference took place in Prague this year. With more than 200 attendees from 24 different countries it was the most successful edition so far and we sure had a great time. Thank you to our partners and customers who joined us, and those who supported us remotely.
We were thrilled to kick off the conference with an exciting Opening Keynote delivered by Resco’s CEO, Radomir Vozar, with a comprehensive summary of the current status and new plans to move the entire Resco ecosystem forward. Radomir’s guests included UNHCR – the United Nations Refugee Agency, whose representatives also described using Resco for non-profit purposes such as refugee registration in Africa, Middle East, and South America. The keynote was then followed by 27 engaging sessions (both business and technical) with an abundance of networking opportunities.
For those of you who couldn’t make the 2018 edition, let us share some insights about Resco’s updated partner strategy: Continue reading →

Second big news is a new cooperation we agreed upon with Microsoft (more details coming soon). Continue reading →
