Resco’s Summer Update 2020 will arrive in the second half of June. And today, you can already check out several exciting additions planned for the upcoming release!

Inspections: Expanding manager insights

How do you identify whether a questionnaire is properly filled in? Or determine the importance of an answer? Question Scoring, one of the main highlights in the Resco Inspections Spring Update, enables you to quickly achieve just that. Simply by adding a score to each answer for any given question.

For example, you can add a score of 10 to a positive answer and a -2 to a negative answer. The scoring can vary based on any criteria. If the score indicates the importance of the question, it will be clear to the inspector which question carries the most weight. Based on the overall score, the completed questionnaire can be automatically marked as passed or failed (and, of course, any other custom options can be set).

Furthermore, the results can be effortlessly filtered in the Inspections’ analytics module. The scoring will help managers to catch any possible irregularities or recognize exceptional performers, as questionnaires with high and low scores can be identified and reviewed instantly.
Another key improvement that will help to provide managers with more actionable insights, is the ability to track questionnaire duration. You can see the actual work time spent on filling out the questionnaire. This way managers will know exactly how long each job lasts, which will help them with scheduling and distributing tasks more effectively.

Innovations: AR-based collaboration with remote assistance video calls

Whether you have a new employee, fresh off the training, or a seasoned technician, dealing with an undocumented issue – connecting with a colleague for a consultation comes in handy. What’s even more useful? Directly sharing what you see and enabling the person on the other end to highlight anything you need to focus on.
From the Resco Inspections app, on-site employees will be able to start an augmented reality (AR) video call and get support from other team members – who will be able to draw AR instructions live, directly into what they will see.
Remote Assistant
This way, teams can share expert knowledge easier, locate and fix issues faster, and work more effectively remotely. AR-based video calls will help in providing clear insights to workers that are already on site, eliminating the need to dispatch additional staff or prolonged machine downtime.
Also, in the challenging conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, video calls allow for a handy way how to maintain social distancing and provide support to customers in an even safer manner.

Resco Mobile Platform: Navigate through processes seamlessly

Some processes may be more complicated than others, and people need guidance in order to correctly complete all the steps. The new Process Flow, coming in the Summer Update 2020, will provide a high-level overview of each stage required to successfully complete a task or job on time.

The feature will enable users to keep track of each stage across any process they’re currently working on. They can move across fully customized stages effortlessly.
Ultimately, Process Flow can help field staff to easier navigate and complete even complex assignments – and thus raise the quality of output and completion rate of key operations. Helping you to keep track and successfully complete even the most challenging endeavors.
