From Boston & Vienna to Philadelphia, Munich, or Rome.

From live keynote presentations to discussions, joint running sessions, or networking receptions.

From industry experts to partners and customers.

resco.NEXT conference has been connecting the community of enterprise mobility professionals for years.

And the 2022 edition will allow us to come together once again. Let’s take a look at what you should know about the upcoming edition on October 6.

Get to know:

The conference

After 2 years of online editions, it’s great to say resco.NEXT is coming back in person.

Because ‘community’ is really about being able to ask questions, share ideas, communicate & collaborate.

And to be honest, this all is easier done in person than through an array of bits and bytes.

So this year, the event will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, where you can expect the full package resco.NEXT community perks again:

  • Meeting fellow friends and colleagues from the mobile tech industry
  • Discussing with Resco experts all the technical & business topics
  • Connecting with professionals from the world of mobility
  • And taking part in the evening reception with the Woodford Reserve tasting session

But resco.NEXT 2022 won’t be only about the good old classics. A lot has changed during the last years in mobile technology, so there will be a lot to discuss about.

We have greatly missed spending time with the Resco community in person these past few years. In Lisbon, we’ll have a pleasant, sunny environment to reconnect, discuss, debate, share a few stories, and strengthen our plans for the future.” – Andrew Lorraine, Resco CEO

The content

As in previous editions, the conference will consist of both technical and business tracks enabling you to dive deep into the latest capabilities of Resco technology.

These sessions, hosted by Resco’s senior technical, product and business development professionals, will let you learn how to provide clients with increased value and leverage the full potential of mobile technology.

The program will be complemented by exclusive insights into Microsoft Dynamics 365, the deskless workforce, and the hottest trends across the enterprise mobility landscape.

And we will be proud to announce Resco Partner Awards in Lisbon – an annual award program that honors and celebrates the creative work partners deliver for their clients in the Resco ecosystem.

The venue

There is not a great event without a great venue. That’s why we visited a number of places in Lisbon to choose the best.

The Sana Malhoa Hotel will offer a premier, 4-star experience for the event attendees in the convenient location of the central financial district.

With just a 7-minute walk from a metro stop and less than a 15-minute drive from the international airport, the venue will serve as a great meeting point for partners and customers from all around the world.

You will be able to fully enjoy the event’s content completed by a led wall and the latest generation of audiovisual equipment in the spacious premises of the venue’s conference room.

And well… we won’t judge you if you won’t resist the sauna, massages and a hot tub on the hotel premises. We will probably jump into one of these too.

The city

Lisbon is a city that is really going places. There is a plethora of everything. From history wrapped up in the grand palaces and heritage districts. Great food topped by the deliciousness of Pastéis de Nata. To bustling nightlife in Bairro Alto.

And during our visit, we’ve got the feeling there is something for everyone in Lisbon. And that’s where we knew it will be a tremendous hosting city for resco.NEXT 2022.

Here are a few of our tips on what to experience:

For foodies:

You should try Portugal’s favorite soup, Caldo Verde, made with potatoes, chorizo sausage, and thinly sliced collard greens or kale.

The Portuguese also love bacalhau. There are hundreds of ways how to cook it, but for the beginning is enough to know it’s a cod preserved in salt.

For the culture and history lovers:

In Lisbon’s historic neighborhoods, there are a few things you can’t miss.

The Jerónimos Monastery (Mosteiro dos Jerónimos) and the Belém Tower (Torre de Belém) are truly must sees in Lisbon.

If hungry for adventures, get lost in the Alfama District, Lisbon’s oldest and most characterful district (but be back on time for the conference).

For music lovers:

After dark, Lisbon takes on an entirely new mood full of mystery and romance.

It’s because of the soulful music of Fado, characterized by the slow and melancholic rhythm, that takes over the city.

Joining one of the live performances around the historic district is one of the best things to do in Lisbon at night.

For the fans of quick wins:

We know, we know. There is so much to see but not enough time.

But Lisbon has a solution.

Jump on tram 28 from Martim Moniz to Campo Ourique, which offers a great way to see the city by driving past the main Lisbon points of interest.

And seeing the city without a need of an uphill walk? That’s what we call an easy win.

For sweet tooths:

The ‘foodie section’ would be too long if we included Lisbon sweets there. So we made a new category for it!

From the famous Pastéis de Nata in Belém to travesseiros in nearby Sintra.

There is plenty to try in Lisbon.

See you in Lisbon?
