Yet another year went by and the time for our quick annual recap has arrived once again. Let’s dive right in.
Over the course of the year Resco has reached two major milestones: we now have a total of 2,000+ customers and 100,000+ licensed users.
398 new companies decided to mobilize their business systems with Resco over the past year, including large global corporations such as ABB Turbocharging, Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, Pabst Brewing Company, Becton Dickinson Rowa Germany GmbH, – all household names of their respective industries. But however large or small, ranging from businesses with 10 to 1000+ users, we value each and every customer and would like to thank you for your continued support.
All of the numbers above translate to another year of significant revenue growth – this time by 23%. With this we continue in our exceptional growth rate, acknowledged also by Deloitte who placed Resco on their list of 500 fastest growing tech companies in EMEA – Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ EMEA.
It is important to point out that the key to these achievements are our partners. They are the ones who deliver our technology to the end customer and remain an essential part of our ecosystem.
In 2017, we paid out more than 1.8 million euros (2.21 million dollars) in commissions for all Resco licenses sold by partners. However, what’s even more interesting is another number: building on our technology enabled partners to deliver additional services to customers worth well over 6.8 million euros (8.34 million dollars).
In fact, to make working with Resco even more effective and profitable for partners, we are preparing an update of our partner program that will better fit the structure of our partner channel. We’ve established a new internal team who are hard at work on further expanding our collaboration with existing and prospective partners. Our goal is to better understand partner needs and requirements and in turn, deliver even more relevant know-how and useful information about Resco’s products and activities (previews, webinars, conferences, etc.).
To keep in touch with customers and partners, we’ve increased our local presence with new staff joining both our North American team and headquarters in Central Europe. Development, sales, and marketing – each department has been beefed up in the past 12 months. And to get even closer to clients in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), we are planning to launch an office in Germany soon. Additionally, we’re evaluating opportunities to expand our operations to other territories as well.
Over the course of last year, we’ve also attended and sponsored 17 CRM and mobility related events. In October we organized the 3rd annual resco.next conference in Europe. Taking place in Amsterdam, 100 attendees from 55 companies and 19 countries joined us to learn all there is about Resco products and the latest trends in business mobility.
And we’re not slowing down in 2018: On March 14-15th, resco.next returns to North America. Just like in Amsterdam, 25+ insightful sessions, hands-on trainings, special guest speakers and more await partners, customers and prospects in Atlanta, GA. Later in autumn the European edition of the conference will be back, as well. Plus, we’ll be appearing at numerous Microsoft and Salesforce-related events throughout the year: Extreme365, Field Service USA, Summit EMEA, Microsoft Inspire, Dreamforce, D365UG/CRMUG Summit, to name just a few.
Before the end of 2017 we’ve also announced new Inspections, Route Planner and City Smart Services solutions. With that, we created a new technical team to make sure we keep our Product Roadmap clearly-defined, up-to-date, and systematically incorporate the received feedback. This way, you – our partners and customers – will be better informed what you can expect from Resco in the future.
And speaking of the Product Roadmap – make sure to keep an eye on our website and blog as the latest versions will be published in the upcoming weeks, before the end of Q1 2018.
2017 was full of both exceptional success and exciting new opportunities for Resco.
