Originally scheduled for the second half of October ’17, we’ve decided to move the American edition of resco.next to March 2018.
Why did we decide on the change?
There are multiple reasons why we believe having the US conference in spring 2018 will be ultimately more beneficial – for you as attendees and for us as organizers alike. The essentials can be boiled down to 3 main points:
1. All Dynamics 365/CRM-related events in the US are held this fall
The October date turned out to be in too close proximity to numerous other high-profile, CRM-oriented events. Microsoft Ignite and Envision, The D365UG/CRMUG Summit, Dreamforce, eXtreme 365 Long Beach – all take place within the autumn timeframe, to name just a few. We learned that numerous attendees will travel to more than one of these conferences, so adding yet another event to an already busy schedule might turn out challenging. Furthermore, Resco will be actively participating in the aforementioned events. Hence many of our own team members will be on the road extensively throughout September and October – which also played part in postponing the US edition of our Mobile CRM Conference.
2. There are no Dynamics 365/CRM conferences in spring 2018
Contrary to the fall, there are virtually no major Dynamics 365/CRM events happening in the spring of 2018. With Microsoft Convergence (which used to take place in spring) discontinued and Envision bundled together with Ignite in September, the event calendar freed up for the first half of the upcoming year. That means more visitors can attend the American edition of resco.next and our staff will also gain some additional time to prepare and deliver the ultimate conference experience.
3. Boosting the content and adding extra value
Moving the event to March provides the opportunity for us to further tailor the sessions specifically to American partners and customers’ requirements. Also, with the Spring Release of Resco Mobile CRM upon us, attendees will get a comprehensive walkthrough of the latest improvements, complemented by an exclusive preview of things to come. And we’re working hard to get C-level executives of Microsoft, Salesforce, and Resco on one stage to share and discuss their views on CRM and mobility – just like we managed to do for the European edition of resco.next in Amsterdam (October 25-26, 2017). American attendees are of course also welcome to join us in Amsterdam, if they want to get the latest, this fall. After all, having the two conferences further apart will enable us to share various news about our product twice in a year.
Simply put: Two days, two tracks (business and technical sessions) and loads of education, networking and fun in one place. The re-scheduled American edition of resco.next will take place in mid-March 2018, with the exact date TBA very soon.
We apologize for any inconvenience this date change may have caused and hope it can be minimized by this notice. Attendees who already purchased their conference passes for the American edition of resco.next will be fully refunded and offered a special discount for the new date. We hope to see you in Atlanta at this later date, next March.
